A commitment to cost-effective, environmentally-conscious solutions

We strive to find environmentally conscience, innovative solutions to industry challenges. Saltwater disposal is one of the largest infrastructure issues for E&P operators and often represents their single largest production expense. With Saltwater Disposal (SWD) facilities located throughout the Permian Basin, the Eagle Ford Shale, the Barnett Shale, and South Texas, Trinity’s strategic locations and 24/7 availability provide ease of access to E&P operators.

Most of our SWD’s are fully automated, minimizing the risk of releases and reducing downtime and cost per load. Additionally, our pipeline-focused SWD growth strategy has resulted in up to 30% reductions in total lease operating expenses for Permian operators. Utilizing pipelines decreases operator transportation expense, while increasing available development capital.

To dispose of E&P waste, Trinity operates salt caverns in South and East Texas. Compared to alternative disposal methods, salt cavern injection disposal offers numerous environmental, technical and operational advantages. The caverns, located well below groundwater, are surrounded by impermeable formations of salt to safely contain and isolate the waste. This unique method is extremely geologically stable and is stringently regulated, attesting to our commitment to responsible, environmentally sound practices.
